We are proud to announce the release of our new five-song EP, The Paradox of Life Confounds, arriving here in digital form on June 6, 2026.

Recorded at the legendary Canterbury Music Company studio in Toronto during its final operational days, this new EP illuminates the confounding conundrum that is life through five tracks that blend new material with previously unrecorded band favourites.

The project continues our group's long-standing collaboration with Grammy-winning producer Simon Law and features the seasoned "Shiners" lineup: Simon Law, John Teshima and Hideki Kumagai.

Guest artists on the recording are Kate Franklin, with her french vocal accompaniment on Fin Du Monde, and Emmanuel Szeptycki, adding violin and background vocals on When Her Century Ends - a song about their Holocaust-surviving Great Grandmother, Vera Schaffer.
